Rotational Moulded Eggs Adorn London’s Tourist Hotspots
Trifibre / Rotomoulding.co.uk is spearheading an innovative project that melds manufacturing ingenuity with public art. We have been tasked with rotomoulding display eggs for central London’s prime tourist locations, highlighting the adaptability of UK manufacturing. These distinctive sculptures start their journey in Trifibre’s workshop, where they’re shaped using the rotational moulding technique—a method that yields hollow, seamless plastic items. After moulding, the eggs are meticulously affixed to bespoke metal bases, blending aesthetics with practicality. Before gracing London’s lively streets, the eggs undergo a makeover, being dispatched for painting to breathe life into them. The designs promise to be visually striking, drawing on London’s iconic sights, abstract art, and the very rotomoulding process that birthed them. This venture not only spotlights Trifibre’s rotomoulding prowess but also commemorates the fusion of industrial skill and artistic expression in the heart of Britain’s capital.
