Trifibre Charity Stories

The good folk at Trifibre are committed to helping out charities as often as we can, raising funds for many well deserved causes by involving ourselves in amazing, and sometimes scary activities . We have helped different charity organisations and have different stories to tell. Trifibre staff Chris, Andrea and Lois have all recently been involved with helping various charities out.

Chris’s Story:
This year Chris took up the challenge of taking part in the Owestry Round, which is a beautiful, and sometimes gruelling 33 mile walk for Cancer Research UK. This challenge took both determination and persistence and was completed in 1 day.
With this fantastic and challenging walk Chris and his team raised a total of £1,770.35.

Andrea’s Story:
Andrea and 2 pals took part in a rally raising money for Prostate Cancer UK. Their main reason was not only to raise money for Prostate UK, but to try to raise awareness of the disease throughout the network of friends and colleagues we know or have a connection with in some way.
Andrea and her fellow drivers embarked from Keyline Commercial offices at Prologis Estate, Swan Valley, Northampton to St Tropez France …. and back … in a 1996 Jaguar XJ6 sports saloon, lovingly called Winston. After a long tiring, yet laughter filled journey, Andrea and her team managed to raise a wicked £4,325,00.

Lois’s Story:
Lois took part in a sky dive to raise money for Cancer Research, a charity close to her heart.  She is not that fond of heights,  so a sky dive took her right out of her comfort zone.  With this in mind, she did this with her brother Ross for family moral support.  Lois and Ross successfully completed their sky dive and enjoyed every bit of it (well perhaps not the initial jump!!).

Trifibre are really delighted at the triumphs that Chris, Andrea and Lois have achieved, and the money raised by them for the great causes they have championed.
