MAX002 The MAXgrip series are able to be submerged under 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes in accordance with the IP67 testing parameters. The new MAXgrip boxes have an automatic pressure release valve, are watertight, airtight and shock proof. Our goal is to offer an IP67 rated accessory box that provides maximum protection to all your personal items.

cheap design. reinforcement fins on outside are thin plastic. i expect they will break if case is dropped on concrete with weight inside case. very low cost optimised. some flex. peli case would be considerably more robust. better than nothing but after having it in person. i expect i would have to buy replacement after its been dropped once or a few times with heavy gadget inside of it. squeeze case and air comes out. then stops as i guess its sealed. would not dare submerge in water with $$ gadget inside. assuming its splash proof not waterproof.

Hi, Thanks for your reviews on our products, they do genuinely help us to improve the products. We have passed on your feedback to our partners at MAX so Just wanted to offer some clarity on the MAX002. The MAX002 is a part of the "MAXgrip" range which are lighter and therefore have thinner walls than the standard MAX case range. It is correct that if squeezed, air will come out. The IP67 test however is a drop test in water, water should not get in up to 1 meter depth for 30 minutes in order for it to pass. This case is IP67 certified and so is watertight and will protect your equipment under those conditions however it would be advisable not to squeeze a MAXgrip case while submerged as this could allow a small amount of water ingress. Our colleagues at MAX do acknowledge though that they need to offer more clarity on the differences of the standard MAX range and the MAXgrip versions. Is it shipped black ? Only when I press clear button then I recieve clear, is that correct.

Hi Anthony, Thank you for your question. This case is black. There is a button which says clear which resets the drop down box where you select if you want the case empty or with foam.
